These theme-based classes are designed for caregivers and babies up to 24 months to attend together. Each week families spend 90 minutes learning useful signs through fun songs, books, and activities. In addition, parents learn simple ways to support their baby’s intellectual and emotional development—tips drawn from Drs. Acredolo and Goodwyn’s second and third parenting books, Baby Minds: Brain Building Games Your Baby Will Love  and Baby Hearts: A Guide to Giving Your Child an Emotional Head Start. Fun and appropriate themes are covered to introduce more than 100 signs:

• Mealtime and Getting Dressed
• Bath Time and Bedtime
• Pets, Farm and Zoo
• Safety and Feelings
• Park and Outside
• Birthday and Review

Additional resource materials such as DVD’s, books, and concept cards available for purchase onsite. Baby Signs training for Early Childhood Educators available on request.
